Stress is a horrible plaque of our society today, it effects millions of people in detrimental ways each and every day. Are you one of these people? Do you worry non stop all day and even the smallest of problems depresses you? You could be one of the millions of people stressed out by everyday activities, such as their jobs, dealing with children, making enough money to live, dealing with relatives, there are many causes to stress.

The best thing to do if you think you have stress, or are on the path to getting stress, is a very beneficial process. A stressed mind cannot help itself, meditation is a great tool for loosening the strings of the mind, and learning to stop stress. Meditation quiets your mind so instead of the cumbersome constant worry you can start figuring out your problems and taking effective action towards realizing your goals. This isn’t as hard as it sounds, I would recommend learning meditation techniques, and starting to meditate 5 to 10 minutes in the morning and night to start with. You will notice it is hard to keep your mind quiet, many thoughts and worries bubble to the surface. It becomes easier as you practice.

While meditation helps, if you are stressed out it is also essential to set your day up and stick to it. For example if you work a day job, you should make it priority that when you get back from home, you leave the job outside. You don’t worry about work in the home, or work on papers, phone calls etc. This lets you let go of all worry and stress once you enter your home and you can rejuvenate for the next day!

Following these simple steps can lead you on a path of being stress free, and creating the life you want. Manifesting what you want intently is one of the universes greatest gifts, by removing our anxiety and stress we can take advantage of this live a happy life without worry. Remember to learn meditation, relax and enjoy the present moment, leave your work at work, and learn to relax.

Anxiety attack symptoms are NOT indications of a serious medical condition. They are simply dramatic responses to being afraid. Being afraid causes the body to stimulate stress hormones. Since stress hormones are designed to prepare the body for action, the changes stress hormones bring about can cause the body to exhibit “symptoms” of this biochemical change. Anxiety attack symptoms are simply “sensory sensations” of this biological change. Again, they are not harmful, but they are letting you know that your body’s stress hormone levels are elevated.

Common anxiety attack symptoms include:

• A feeling of impending doom, that something horrible is about to happen, that you are in grave danger

• A strong feeling of fear, foreboding

• An urge to escape, to get out, to run away from danger

• Blanching, turning white, looking pale

• Blushing, skin blotches, turning red

• Burning skin

• Choking sensation, tightening throat, it feels like your throat is closing

• Confusion

• Depersonalization (feeling detached from reality, separate from one-self, separate from normal emotions)

• Derealization (feeling unreal, in a dream-like state)

• Dizziness, lightheadedness, unsteadiness

• Emotional distress

• Emotional upset

• Fear of going crazy

• Fear of losing control, freaking out

• Fearful thoughts that seem incessant feels like there is a tight band around your head

• Hot or cold chills

• Inability to calm yourself down

• Knot in the stomach, tight stomach

• Nausea

• Numbness, tingling sensations in any part of the body

• Panicky feeling

• Pins and needles feeling

• Plugged ear(s), stuffed ear(s)

• Pounding heart

• Racing heart

• Shooting pains in the chest, neck, shoulder, head, or face

• Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing

• Sweating

• Tightness in the chest

• Trembling, shaking (visibly shaking or just trembling on the inside)

• Upset stomach

• Urgent desire to go to the bathroom (urinate, defecate)

• Vomiting

There is a long list of anxiety symptoms. However, because each body is somewhat chemically unique, anxiety affects each person differently. Consequently, anxiety symptoms vary from person to person in type or kind, number, intensity, and frequency. If your symptoms do not exactly match this list that does not mean you don’t have anxiety. It simply means that you body is responding to anxiety slightly differently.

For example, one person may experience only a few minor symptoms, while another person may experience the majority of symptoms to great intensities. All combinations are possible and common.

Anxiety attack symptoms can range from mild to severe, from only one symptom to all of them, and can be sporadic, frequent, or persistent. Again, the combination of all is possible and common. Just keep on thinking positive and you will be fine.

Relaxation is nourishment for your soul. It is the way that the body replenishes energy to get you through life's pressures. It is the light at the end of the tunnel. It's about balance.

Put on your favourite piece of music. Sit in your favourite chair and put your feet up. Close your eyes and listen. Take some deep breaths. Chill.

Relaxation is nourishment for your soul. It is the way that the body replenishes energy to get you through life’s pressures. It is the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s about balance.

Give yourself the time to relax and know how to enjoy it once you get it. This is the essence of getting a life. Plan relaxation as part of your daily routine, setting aside at least two hours a day to do something just for you. You’ll find it will make you a more contented person. Your resentment at the pressures of work or family will slip away as you indulge yourself. You deserve your time. Don’t ever forget that.

When you have your relaxation time is a matter of personal preference. Many people find that physical exercise is their greatest form of relaxation and will start the day by going to the gym or out into the fresh air for a run. Alternatively, a break at lunchtime can give you the extra energy to get through the day, particularly if you are able to take a walk outside. Others find that a big glass of wine while watching the television is the best way to kick back after a hard day at work. Whatever you choose to do and whenever you choose to do it are up to you. Just do it.

We all know people who seem to have a very difficult time relaxing, either because their mind is filled with worries because they feel unproductive if they are not being active. These people are in even more need of relaxation, as it is difficult to gain perspective if our mind and body never have a break.

Think about all the things that stimulate your senses. Beautiful sights, lovely fragrances and inspiring music can work wonders to help the body to wind down. Even something as simple as a room filled with lit candles creates a very peaceful atmosphere.

Give yourself treats, because you deserve them. Indulge yourself in your favourite ice cream, read a book from start to finish or soak in a hot tub just for the fun of it. Have a siesta in the middle of the day. Don’t ever feel guilty about taking the time to do what you want.

Once you appreciate the calmness that you feel, you will know that this is the only way to live.
